Across Quebec, 90,000 CO₂ sensors have been installed in classrooms, while Belgium's "ventilation plan" requires CO₂ meters in every public room. Additionally, 300,000 CO₂ monitors have been purchased by schools so far, and classrooms are equipped with air purifiers, including CO₂ monitoring.
